THE HOME DOCTOR.
FOR LUMBAGO SUFFERERS.
Many people are suffering from
lumbago at present. It is an extreme-,
ly painful affliction anil seems to -be
more painful at.'night. Rest is' really
-necessary. if -the 'pain is severe, ine
most comfortable position to take in
bed is to be prone with a pillow under
the abdoriien, to relax the muscles of
the back.- A rubber hot- water tjng,
protected by sufficient covering, pre
ferably of flannel, and placed over- the
seat of pain will help matters con
siderably, but a- course of . massage
under the doctor's orders is'the best
possible aid to recovery.
