A. penalty goal by Bill Barry with mos|
of the first half gone gave Manly a 6-3 leaa
in the Rugby Union semi-final against East

A penalty to Eastwood saw
Pearson miss ' about three
minutes after the start.
Eastwood were winning most
of the ball but the solid Manly
defence kept them out.
In Manly's half Waltqn was

Pearson had another shot at
goal close in. .
