Adelaide, April 6.
The Premier's death has lcft the Minis
try in a peculiar position. There are only
three members of the Government-Maers.
ilico (ulsef Secretary), Barweil (Attorney
General), and Ritc?ae (Minister for Pub
lic Worhs). Two others members-Messr.
'asooe and Hague-were to have been
Sworn in this morning, having been chosen
to fill vacancies canned by the resignation
of the Nationalist members, Anstey and
Harvey. A special Cabinet meeting was
held this morning. The Premier's death,
of coruse, necessitates the dissolution of the
Ministry, and a new Cabinet will now have
to be formed. It is expected that the Chief
Secretary will re'commend the Lieutenant
tiovernor (Sir George Murray) to send for
Mr. Barwell, and that the Attorney-General
will be asked to form the new Administra
tion.
