The indictment against- Fostars alleged
that on or about February 21, 1941, the
iirtn had in its possession goods suitable
for the manufacture of leather soles for
boots contracted to be supplied to the mili
tary authorities, and that a stamp with
lettering "NL" similar to that used by
Norman Castleton Lockhart, an inspector
for the . Commonwealth, had been applied
to the said leather soles, indicating that
the soles had been inspected by him, and
likely tp lead to the belief that they had
been so inspected.
The hearing is not finished.
