Leading Teams
To Meet At
Queenstown
in the final same of the fourth
round of the Queenstown Asso-
ciation roster, thc two leading
teams, City and Smelters, will
meet at Queenstown tomorrow.
Lyell will play Gormanston at
Queenstown on Sunday. E. Mc
GJade will be central umpire for the
City-Smelters match, and B. Leo
will officiate at the Sunday game.
Smelters has every chance of de-
feating City if the forward line im-
proves. The team that defeated
Lyell last week has not been altered,
although Pilkington may be included.
When the Queenstown Association
met on Tuesday the School of Mines
asked permission to play a Rosebery
team as a curtain raiser on Aug. 17,
The association decided it could not
accede to the request, as it was im-
possible at this stage to interrupt
roster matches. The association
would have no objection to the
ground being used on Saturday or
Sunday mornings by the school
team,. .
