SIILPPING NOTES.
The G.A.s.. . leissen wil sail this evening
for the Eastern States.
The s.s. Yongala arrived from the Eastern
States at 6 o'clock last night and berthed at
Victoria Quay about an hour later. Captain
Sira. reports having left Adelaide at 2 p.m. on
S?aturday. Moderate southerly and westerly
winds were experienced to Albany. The latter
port was reached at noon on Tuesday, and after
discharging cargo aqd mails the steaner sailed
for Fremantle at 7 p.m. On the run up- the
coast a strong. easterly wind, accompanied by
rain, was met with. which continued to arrival.
The (Yongala has on board 803 tons of general
carpg consigned to Perth and Fremantle.
The Government steamer Penguin returnil
fromn Bunbury and Cape Naturalisto yesterday
afternoon.
The s.s. Cycle left for Geraldton last night.
't the northern port she will discharge a
quantity of coal, and will return to the Port
on Monday next.
