Western Australia.-Rain is again recorded
in the N.W., between Derby and Cossack, and
extending inland to Peak Hill, and the wea
ther is still unsettled throughout the tropics,
and cloudy to overcast over the rest of the
State, except on the central west coast, and at
scattered places on the Coolgardie goldfields,
where it is fine. W. to NIW. winds along the
south coast. Calms and light E. to S.E. else
where. Foggy in the S.W.
South Australia.-Generally fine and clear;
calms and E. to N.E. winds.
Victoria.--Generally fine and clear, with hoar
frost; misty at places on the coast. Light va
riable winds, chiefly N. Isolated to very
light rain in 8. districts.
New South Wales.-Unsettled in N. districts.
Showery in N.W. and N.E., where light rain
is recorded. Variable winds.
