THE PORTS v. THE CITY.
The. above match was played on the
Flemantle' Oval on Wednesday last and
resulted in an ess, win for Ports, final
sctres being-Ports, 10 als 10 behinds;
City, 1 goa, 7 behinds. Tie winners pla.y
ed a good combined game, their passing
and handball being excellent. The City
were best represented by, Butler, Ben.ett,
l)'Arcy. Hastings. Lloyd, and Sara. Goal

EAST FREMANTLE V. BUNBURY.
East Fremantle will visit Bunbury to
morrow, to play a combined team. The
following are requested to meet to
day (Friday), at Fremantle station, at

W.A. RUGBY UNION.
A meeting of the special cominmittee of
the W.A. Rugby bthion was held last
night at the Sports Club, when the vice
president, Mr. Nelson, was in the chair.
As the result of a complaint laid by the
Sydney Club against the late secretary
and treasurer, H. Keesing he wag ex
F.elled from the Union and disqualified for
life.
For the Perth v. Pioneer game on the
Esplanade Mr. Wiseman was appointed
referee. and Mr. A. A. Kean referee in
the Sydney-Swan game at the Woodbridge
Showground.
