learn more about the Kew
Community Aid Auxiliary, which
was started some weeks ago by
women of the Kew ARP, a meet
ing was held in the Kew Town
Hall this afternoon, when the
work of the auxiliary was ex
plained and discussed by members
of the committee, volunteer work
ers and others. The convener (Mrs
A. P. Derham) presided.
The volunteers visit the homes
"of servicemen's wives and mothers,
who register at the Kew Town
Hall on Thursday mornings, and
they look after the children for a
few hours to enable the mothers
to do their shopping. Mrs S. D.
Leslie Is the hon. secretary of the
auxiliary, and Mrs Urban the re
gistrar.
