GLADSTONE GOLF CLUB.
Satisfactory rnominat-iens were re
ceived for the first handicap stroke
competition on Saturday last, when
29 players competed, those successful
being Mr. J. Duval and Mrs. A. H.

ga and Mr. F. I-T. McKenzie, of Cowell,
were visitors to the links during the
week end and expressed satisfaction
with the condition of the course, it
is interesting to learn that in con
junction with neighbouring clubs the
committee are organising a B grade
team, and the first match will take
place on the local links on Saturday,
May 2.
