WEDDING BELLS.
SHELDON—FALLON.
" On Wednesday afternoon Serviceton
presented a scene of animation,
more especially in the vicinity of the
public hall, and enquiry elicited the
fact that two oopular young people
were taking the plunge into the sea of
matrimony. Being one of the favored
(writes our correspondent) I entered
the hall and was greatly pleased with
the result of the ladies' work ; the
building was decorated with festoons,
art muslin, etc, and there was one
large and three small marriage bells
suspended tear tbe altar. The contracting
, parties were Misa Maggie
Fallon, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs
W. Fallon, senr, Mundalla, and Mr
Thos W Sheldon, son of Mr and Mrs
Sheldon, of Serviceton. Ai tbe bride
passed down the aisle, on the arm of
her father, she made a beautiful picture,
gowEed in white silk, skirt
trimmed with silk lace and French
knot:), bodice transparent yoke, lace
Berthe, finished with true lovers'
knots; she wore tbe long nreil, caught
with the blcesom, and carried a bouquet,
tbe gift of Miss E. Sheldon. At
the altar I noticed as bridesmaids
Misses E Fallon and E> Sheldon, attired
in .cieam silk, draped skirts,
kimoiias, with lace slesves and pale
blue sashes ; cream silk bats relieved
with pale blue. The train bearers
were Misses Buby Fallon and Kuby
Sheldon, tastefully dressed with white
muslin, relieved by pale blue and carried
basketB of flowers. All wore
their respective presents. Mr Sheldon
was supported by Messrs Chas
Sheldon and Stanley Fallon. The
ceremony waB performed by Revd
McKay, of Kaniva. assisted by Bev
French, of Bordertown. Mrs Williams
presided at the organ, and
played both bridal and wedding
marches,
The wedding breakfast took place
in tbe railway refreshment rooms,
where relatives and friends sat down
to a capital spread, Tbe toastB honoured
were—Bride and Bridegroom,
by Bev McKay; United Families, by
Bev French j Bridesmaids, by Mr C
Sheldon.
The evening was spent in dancing
in the hall, * music being supplied by
Messrs Copeman, Murphy and Sheldon
Mr T Makin acted as Master of
C' remenies.
The young couple left for Adelaide
by the 3 express, where the honeymoon
will be spent, The going-away
dress was of- navy blue with white hat
Mrs Sheldon wishes to publicly
thank Mr and MrB Wraith for the
assistance rendered at the breakfast.
