APPROACHING MARRIAGE.
BANNISTER—MEDLEN.—A quiet wedding is to
be shortly celebrated, the contracting parties be-
ing Mr. G. S. Bannister, eldest son of Mr. and
Mrs. W. Bannister, or Green-street, Brompton,
and Miss E. Medlen, youngest daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. O. Medien, of Drayton-street, Bowden.
DEATHS.
HERRAMAN.—On the 4th February, at Mel-
bourne-street, Lower North Adelaide, , Margaret
Matilda, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. P.
Herraman, aged 4 months.
HOLDERNESSE.—On the 8th February, at his
son's residence (Rhyl-avenue, Wayville), George
William, the beloved husband or Minnie Maud
Holdernesse, of National Park, Belair, aged 60
years. Deeply regretted.
EDLINGTON.—On the 1st February, at her
daughter's residence' (Mrs. E. Fuiniss), "Ingle-
ride," Balaklava, Ann Edllngton, widow of the
late Robert Edlington, of Mount Gambier, aged
86 years. Peace, perfect, peace.
BRADFIELD.—On the 7th February, at North
Adelaide Children's Hospital, William, youngest
son of Wm. G. and .R. .Brafdfield. At rest.
POSTLETHWAITE.—On the 24th January, at
the Mount. Gambier Hospital. Effie, the beloved.
wife of R. S. Postlethwaite, stationmaster, Lucin-
dale, land loving mother of Mrs. S. Megaw, Tan-
tahools, and Mrs. E. G. Gill, Semaphore. At

SMART.—On the 3rd February, at North Bun-
daleer, accidentally killed, Charles C. Smart, I
a early loved eldest son of J. and the late Oh as.
F. Smart, of Narridy.
HORN.—On'the'7th' February; at the Children's
Hospital, Dave, the darling little son of Edith
(nee Davidson) and the late Albert John Horn,
aged. 2 years. "A little sufferer at rest."
HEGGARTY.—On the 7th February, at his resi
denee',' Gawler South, John'Joseph" Heggarty, be-
loved husband of-llaria Heggarty. aged 56 years.

OLSEN.—On the 2nri September, 1916, of wounds
received in France, Private George Richard Olsen,
late Of Balaklava, aged ,25 years. So dearly loved,

BILNEY.—Killed in action in France on August
4, 1916, Private H. Bilney, of Kangarilla
He left his home in health and strength,
