MISCELLANEOUS SHIPPING.
Thf Wool Ships.—The Irene is now on her last trip,
under command of Captain Brace, who has been remark
ably fortunate during the lengthened period of his career in
the Adelaide trade. His vessel has now 1,420 bales on
board, besides dead weight, and a full complement of pas
sengers, and will sail on Satnrday morning on the home
ward voyage. —The Alwynton is loading in the dock, and
progresses favourably, having 1,000 bales on board, besides
250 tons dead weight—The Harwich has discharged her in
ward cargo, excepting some water-pipes for Port Augusta,
which will be transhipped to the schooner Trader when
that vessel arrives.
The brig Centaur has occupied the patent slip for a long
period, being under a course of oomplete overhaul and reno
vation. Artificers are employed putting in new garboard
strakes, and workmen are engaged about the bull, in paint
ing and repairing where requisite, and when completed
Captain Smith will be in command of a very fine vessel.
