Acreage.
AT. A R.YBOR OUG II , Wednesday.— The
superintendent of the Alidlnnd railway
district (Atr. H. F. Kussoll), after tour
ing the northern end, stated that acreage
sown throughout the territory which
came under ms supervision was 30 per
cent, more than last season. As the re
sult of recent beneficial rains, the crops
were looking magnificent. Kvcn if tlio
falls were only light in the next few
weeks, a good yield was assured. But ii
they were heavy, the hnrvest would lie
n bumper one. There had been a great
demand for manure, and the land had
been sown almost to the utmost limit ol'
