GEELONG. Saturday. — Barwon Heads
annual tournament was opened to-day. The
course and greens were in - excellent order.
I. H. VVhltton won the championship event
with a score of 140. He did the morning
round ln 71, and ln /the afternoon, after talv-
H 5 for one of tho short holes, returned
