ITALIAN RECEPTION
Armistice .Commemoration.
Yesterday afternoon -between .350 and
400. members of tlio Italian -community.. of
Melbourne gathered at the residence of
Goiumendniorc. Grossardi/rRoytd .Italian
Consul-General.- for Australasia,: "Clouniel,'''
nawtnorn, 111 order to celebrate the nnui-
veSsary of the signing of the armistice;
Italy signed the armistice on 4th Novem
ber, but as this was not a convenient data
for such a reception yesterday was chosen-
It also marked the fourth anniversary of
Mussolini's term of office as Prime Minis
ter .of Italy.
