yiterday morr ing, two youths named
Hawkins nnd Doron pleaded cuilty to
the larceny of nine flasks of' whisky
from Alexander's Hotel, Devonport-, on
July G. The prosecution was conducted
by Detcotivc Divan, wlq stated that
considerable petty thefts wore, lately
being perpetrated in Devonport, nnd the
police desired to put a stop to them,
- although in the present instance they
did not press for a licnvy penalty.
