SPECIAL NOTICE.
Announcements of Births, Marriages, and
Deaths, not exceeding five lines, are inserted once
each in The Register, The Observer, The Evening
Journal, and Special Summary prepared for trans-
mission to England, for the single charge of Half
a Crown; extra lines, 6d. each. The name and
address of the sender must in all cases be given.
BIRTHS.
WILLIAMS.—On the 11th November, at Wool-
nough road, the wife of J. H. Williams—a
daughter.
MARRIAGES.
STEWART—WAKEFIELD.—On the 6th November,
at the Holy Evangelist Church, Goolwa, by
the Rev. T. M. Boyer, J. Ward Stewart, of Hind-
marsh Island, to Gertrude Wakefield, eldest
daughter of Mrs. C. S. and the late M. Wake-
field, of Currency Creek.
DEATHS.
GARDINER.—On the 20th November, at Win-
chester street, East Adelaide, Hugh McMillan,
eldest son of John, and Annie Barr Gardiner, age
24 years. No flowers.
GURR.—On the 20th November, at her residence,
Henry street, Stepney, Lucy, relict of the late
James Gurr, in her 88th year.
NORMAN.—On the 18th November, at Willunga,
Martha Selina, beloved wife of John Norman,
aged 57 years, leaving 7 sons and 4 daughters.
PEAKE.—On the 18th November, at Angas
street, Kate, the dearly beloved sister of Mrs.
Provo, and third daughter of the late Capt. Wil-
liam Baker, of Dartmouth, Devonshire, aged 57

SOLOMON.—On the 13th November, at Crystal
Brook, Eliza, the beloved, wife of G. A. Solomon,
and daughter of the late Mr. Thos. Banbury,
North Petherwin Devon, England, after a long
and painful illness, leaving husband, 4 sons, and
2 daughters to mourn their sad loss, aged 67

beloved husband and father, Henry Philcox who
