Korwood Club.—-Clarke and Watt devoted Tuesday
evening, April 3, at Jackman's to their tourney
game, but did not come to a finish, and
members of the club assembled at the Noru-otid
Institute the following evening, expecting to witness

was called, the game had to be again adjourned,
and the destination of the first prize is still undecided.
This game will rank amongst the re

another long sitting to bring it to a close. Clarke
has battled under the disadvs^&fe of being in
a position where nothing but "" fv absolute win
would be to bis benefit, as a di i game woqld
place Pascoe first, one ha!f-poin< inly ahead of
Clarke, and Watt is to be commended for the
plucky manner in which he has stuck to bis guns.
On Wednesday next, the President of the club,
Mr. R. K. Thrrifal] will band over to the care
of tile Institute Committee the Smith Challenge
Shield, won by East Torrens district last year, and
request .them to place it in the public reading-room,,
where it will find a resting-place until some other
district or <£ub estaUs&es' a right to its poses-
