Boyle and Scott Cup.
urmonci v. Nortu Fitzroy.— Tho final match for
the Boyle and Scott Cup between tho above clubs
was continued on Saturday last on tho Fitzroy
cricketgrouud, the attendance of spectators being
about 4000. Whon play was resumed the scores
stood North Fitzroy, First innings, 252 ; Orraond,
268 for six wickets. The lattoris innings closed for
272, the scores in this innings boing Carter 55, Glass
cock 48, Fox 53, Armstrong 74, Drape 12, C. M'Leod
6 and Carlton 7 ; Smith secured soven wickets
and Schmidt two. Tho North Fitzroy, with
two men absent, roado 83 in their second
innings, the scorers being— Schmidt 2, Passfield
11, Kelly 3, Smith 18, Barnott 4, Clarko 19, Ryan
16 and Dyall (not out) 6. Carter took eight wickets
at a cost of 45 runs, six wickets boing clean bowled.
The Ormond requiring 63 runs to win went in for
their second innings, and at tho time appointed for
drawing of stumps had scored 44 without tho loss of
a wicket. The Onnond, requiring 19 runs to win the
match, will resume play next Saturday.
The match M.C.C. v. S.M.C.C. second cloven was
won by tho former by five wickets, playing ono man
short- Scores as follows :— South Melbourne, 281
first innings, 160 second innings; M.C.C., 270 first
innings, 175 for five wickets. For tho South, Bar
rett made 49 and 0 ; Bobdart, 35 and 0; Fanchon,
36 and 79; Aitken, 33 and 28; Dunlop, 52 and 0;
J. Dunlop, 41 and 26, were tbo principal scorers.
For the M.C.C., M'Uwraith, 76 ami 11 not out;
Stephen, 38 and 3; Clo. Mainon, 66 and 18 ; Chas.
Mainon, 63 not out ; Aitken 6 and 76 not out ; Lamb,
4 and 46.

St. Francis Xavier94; F. M'Donald 10, G. M'Kenna
24, M. O'Brien 11, Fay 10 and Crosbio 11 (not out).
M.C.G 122 for four wickets; Baker 46, Downing 45,
Carrackor 20 (not out). For M.C.C. Tirabury took
four wickets for 25 and Carracker three for 19 runs.
E. M.C.C. v. University Second Elevens.— This
match was continued on Saturday. E. M.C.C. in
their first innings had compiled 181. University
wore at tho wickets on Saturday, and put together
128. E. M.C.C. thus winning by 63. Levy 30 and
Officor 29 were top scorers for University. Ross
took six wickets for 29 runs for E.M.C.C. In their
second innings E,M.C;C. made 59 for one
wicket.
University v. Melbonmians was won by Univer
sity by 29 runs. Score?: University, 98 (Francis 31,
Gawno 21, Currio 18, C. Graham 13), and ono for
35 (A. H, Grcenn 23, not out.); MRlbournians,'-69
(Osborne 23. Chapman 10). Chapman bowlorl well
for the Melbourmans, taking five wickets. For the
University C. Graham got tho hat trick and six
