under date 14th May, as follows:
BUTTER.—The London butter
market is steady at unchanged prices,
Aust. selling at 75/- to 76/- per
cwt. S. Australian production is
still showing, an increase, and sales
kre definitely .better since prices
were reduced. . Farmers’ _ Union
choicest quality ,is quoted, at. 1/2 |d.
lb. in bulk. (This price only applies
to local sales/ and after providing
for th'e/export quota the payment to
dairymen will be based on 11 and. lb v,
as this is the - equalising price.)

EGGS .—There is a good demanid
for eggs, and all descriptions are
being cleared up without any diffi
culty. . For" export quality eggs
