Thk Weather ov Liverpool Plains, &o -
With the exception of a couple of sultry evenings
when rain threatened, the weather ha9 been ex
ceedmglj enjoyable, becoming gradually cooler as
autumn advances A little rain, though not imme-
diately necessary for agricultural or pastoral pur-
poses, would be acceptable so far as concerns the
town, which is daily enveloped in dust by the
numerous teams passing to and fro Cattle horses,
and sheep preserve a fine condition, feed being
plentiful m most parts of the district Oat towards
Warialda and in the direction of the Upper Peel
grass and water are specially abundant-Tamworth
