GERMANY VIOLATES AGREEMliCs ,
CZECHS IN A TIGHT CORNER.

in Russia, cables from Ekater n-
burg that, despite Germany's agreement
to withdraw her troops from Russia,
<ierrnau geaerale and other officers sstiil
remain, and are commanding the Bolshevik
armies.
The Czecho-Slovak staff has information
e'early indicating that General
Drueeher remains as Chief of the Bolshevik
General Staff, also that General
Eberhadt still commands a Bolshevik
army on the Samor, or southern front.
Assisting the German generate is a staff
of German-Magyars, which is busy attempting
to form a large Bolshev'k army
•for operab'on during the coming spring.
According to Czecho-S'wvak information
the Bolshevik army numbers 227,WO,
with 23 new divisions called up for the
spring. The Czecho-Slovak army also
faces formidable Bolshevik forces, which
threaten their communications towards
Ylad'ivostock. The Czechs must either
withdraw from Siberia, or obtain Allied
military assistance.
