Daylight
Saving.
(T« the Editor of "The World.")
Sir,—Will you kindly allow me a small
space in your impartial columns to express
my disgust of the inconsistency of some of
our members re the Daylight Saving Act.
I leave home for work at 3 a.m. and return
at 5 p.m. Now, I would .Jike to ask daylight
saving legislators and Mr. Williams
if they can aid us to save daylight in the
winter months, when it is dark at fire,

a meeting be called, and workers start work
at the old time, and even go. to church at
the old time, and leave lovers of pleasure
to their own devices and time. . I think
all leaders of unions could soob arrange such
a meeting. I know that letters sent to one
of your contemporaries on tids subject are
not published, which to my mind shows
plainly- which side of the community derive
benefit .from the present Daylight Saving.
Yours, etc.,
