50-year
link with
exchange
Todd Partners'
representative at Victor
Harbor to Mr. Norman
Todd, who has been sur
rounded by shares and
the Stock Exchange of
Adelaide for the greater
Dart of his business life.
He has been the stock ex
change secretary, a
member of the exchange,
and a committeeman, over
the past 50 years.
Mr. Todd founded the
present firm in 1966, hav
ing earlier been a partner in
the sharebroking firm of
WalkleyToddandCo.
The Walkley family had
had long associations with
the Adelaide Stock Ex
change, and with Mr. Colin
Walkley's retirement the
present firm under its cur
rent name eventually evolv
ed.
Mr. Todd is a former
fellow of the Australian
Society of Accountants and
also of the Securities In
stitute of Australia, and a
former fellow and State
president of the Institute of
Chartered Secretaries and
Administrators.
A Justice of the Peace,
Mr. Todd has also had com
munity associations over
many years.
These include the:
Adelaide Children's
Hospital — served on the
finance committee for more
than 20 years and now a life
member of the Hospital.
South Australian branch
of the Scout Association -
State councillor and vice
president.
Asthma Foundation of
S.A. — councillor.
S.A. Baseball League —
patron.
Mr. Todd's interest in Vic
tor Harbor began 25 years
ago with the purchase of a
family holiday home at
Hayborough.
Then an active golfer, he
presented the 'Hole-in-
One' board to Victor Har
bor Golf Club, and Mr. Todd
also supports the
prestigious local Diggers'
Golf Day with a cup for the
local R.S.L. member.
Said Mr. Todd: 'I look for
