DEATH BY DROWNING-Intelligence was
brought into town on Saturday, by the, mailman
fron Mundooran, that Mr Luckey, of the Castle-
reagh River, had met with his death while
attempting to cross the Castlereagh River,
during the earlier part of the past week. The
river was slightly in fresh, and the unfortunate
young man was swept away by the current. The
particulars of the accident are very meagre. The
fienda of the deceased are down the country at
present, and information was forwarded them by
telegraph. It is only a short time since we an-
nounced the death of the father of the deceased
by accident. He (deceased) originally lived at
Ben Bullen, and we understand was, at the time
of his death, managing Mr Sidey's station on the
Castlereagh.
