? Whereas It is considered oxpedtent to extend tho districts
open to pastoral settlement, by the addition ta the dlstrlot of
Darling of the country bounded by tho 211th sud 80th parallels
I ol South latitude, and Bltuated between tho district of Warrego
I and'tho 141st meridian of East longitude; andothorvvlso to
amend tho boundaries of tho pastoral dlstriots of Darling and
Albert: Now, therefore, I, Sir William Thomas Donison, the
(Jovernor General ulbrosald, by vlrtuo of tho authority in mo
vested, ila hereby proclaim that tho following shall bu tho
boundaries ol'tho said districts respectively, vte. :
Ihistoral District of the Darling,
Commencing nt thu point on tho Lnchlim ltlvor about 12
mllcB above tho confluence of that river with tho Murrumbid-
gee, where tim south boundary line ol the reservo at Oxley
meeta that river: and bounded thenoo on the north by Hie
south boundary Uno of that reservo, bearing west about li
mile -, on tho east by tho west boundary Uno of that reservo and
Ka northerly prolongation, beailnir north, to a line midway be
tween tho Lachlan and Darling luyera i on the south-east by
that Uno, north-easterly, to Its intersection with a Uno, south-
easterly, at right angles to tho Uiver Darling, Iron a point 20
miles belovv Uio confluence of that river willi tho River War-
rego i again on tho east by that Hue, north-westerly, to the
Rlvor Darling ; on tho north-west by that rlvor, downwards,

Creek i theiico on tho north by a line bearing west, to tho Mist

being tho boundary between Now Soutli Wnlesmid South Aus-
tralia, southerly, to tho Rlvor Murray ; and ou tho south by
tho Murray, Murrumbidgee, and Lachlan Rivers, upwards, to
tim Oxley reserve, aforesaid,

Commencing on the right bank of tho River Darling, at n
point lu a bend of that rlvor 0 miles and 00 chains, north-
easterly, lu a direct Uno, from tho oontluonco of Menindee
Crouk i and bounded thoiioo on tho south bj " Uno, bearing
west, to tho 141st meridian of cast long(tudo¡ on the west by
that meridian, being tile boundary betweoh Now South Wales
and South Australia, northerly, to tho 2»jU» parallel of south
latitude t ou the liôrtîi by that parallel, easterly, to a point 20
miles, westerly, from the RiVer Warrego ; thence on the east
by a line, southerly, parallel with tho general course of that
river, to the River Darling; and on the aouth-oitst by that
"river, downwards, to tho point of commencement, i'
Notice Is hereby given, that nn Order lins boon made by tho
Governor and Executive Council, dated 20th Septombcr, 18G0,
empowering James Kigg Dalzell, Esquire, Polioo Magistrate for
WoUombl and Macdonald Districts, to exercise within those
districts during three years from the date of the said Order in
Council, the special powers authorised to bo so given to Police
Magistrates, by the second clause ol the Clerks ol' Petty Sessions
Act of 1857. '
His Excclle'noy the Governor General has been pleased to
authorise the removal of the public pound nt Tamworth from
its preient oite, to land opposite the police paddock in that
township.
