Cof cart colts at the Chester Meeting of the
Agricultural Society's Show in 1858. He is
a roan horse, 4 years old, 16 hands 3} ¡nobes high,

" POBSTON " is a rioh bay, with black points, stands
15 hands 2 inches, and for racing qualities cannot be
surpassed. His sire, the " Flying Dutchman," won 15
out of 16 races for whioh he ran, including the Derby,
and thongh beaten by "Voltigeur" for the Doncaster
Cup, he won a match of 1000 guineas at York against
" Voltigeur ;" and it is worthy of remark that no less
than five of his produce were PLACED for the last Derby.
2ND.
"PLANET,"
Bred also by Mr. Cooper ; 4 years old ; a brown horse,
without white, and free from unsoundneBS of any
kind, whioh makes him valuable to breed from.
He is by "PUnet," dam by " Theon," out of "Lady
Love," by "The Emperor;" "Planet" by "Bay
Middleton," out of "Plenary," by "Emilius"
thus combining the stoutest and best blood in Eng-
land.
Every care taken of mares sent to either " Ponton "
or " Planet," but no responsibility ; and the charge foi
the service of either horse will be Five Gnineas, which,
for snob, quality of horses, is merely nominal.
