POURING FROM A
BOTTLE.
Unless the lip of a bottle is of exactly the right
shape, it is difficult to pour a little liquid from
it, when the botlle is more than half-full, without
some, if not all, of the solution that is poured out
running down the side. It. may not be. generally
known that it is not at all difficult to prevent this
if the under part, of the lip is slightly greasy.
Grease itself is not a nice thing to have on a
bottle : wax is better. Have :>. bottle containing
while wax dissolved in benzol, and a little of this
painted round the lip with a small brush is a complete
preventive. The. top side of the lip must be
kept carefully free from the wax.
