at 1,590,000 qrs., as against 1,400,000 qrs.

WHEAT. - The English wheat market is
showing* general decline of fid. per qr. The
Continental wheat markets are declining.
The American wheat markets are declining
aiid weak, Caiifornian No. 1 milling wheat
for . early shipment is quoted at 31s. fid. per
i>D0 lb, c.i.f., the price not having altered "for
the week.- Russian wheat cargoes (Ghirkal
per steamer are quoted at 29a. per 492 lb.
e.f.i., being a fall of 9d. for the week. The
London quotation, for wheat parcels, No. 1
Hard Dulutii, is 33s. fid. per 480 lb., a fall
of 3d. for the weok.

BBADPOIID TOPS.-'The market at Bradford
is hardening. Common sixties are quoted at
10f<]., and supers at 17£d. to 18£d. per lb.
SUGAR.-Business in the sugar market is
steady. German beet, 88° per cent., is quoted
at 8s. 9d., Java No. 15 d.s. being worth 10s.
9d. per cwt.
RABBITS.-Australian rabbits are slow of
salo, owing to the glut in the marlcot, at 8s. per
dozen. -
. BUTTEH.-The butter market is dull. Prices
have fallen to 80s. to 83s. per ewt. owing to
heavy supplies, of foreign and English origin.

CoprER. - The copper market is weaker.
The spot quotation for Chili bars is £49 2s. fid.
per ton, a rise of 5s. for the week; at three
months the quotation is £49 10s., a fall of
2s. 45d. for the week.
LEAD.-Soft foreign is quoted at £1117s. 6d.
per ton.
* TIN.-The tin market is quiet. The spot
quotation is £G2 7s. fid. per ton.
PIG IRON.-Glasgow warrants, cash per ton,
are quoted at 45s. 3d.
