The full-powered Steamships of this hue are
built and' fitted expressly for Carrying Pas
sengers oil long ocean voyages, are each of about
4,000 tons register, and make the voyage in about
40 days. They are fitted with punkahs, at
tached to the main engines, and steam-heating
apparatus on the most approved principle, and
are thoroughly ventilated for the tropics.

CHARGES.
Our Charges for Selling Wool are the Lowes
Ruling in any of the Colonies, viz,:—
Commission—On amounts over £200, One per
Cent.
On amounts under £200, Two and
a TTat v per Cent.
The above low rates include all charges for
Warehousing, Fire Insurance, Advertising,
Cataloguing, &c., &c.
On Wool offered and not-sold, No Charge
of any Rind will be made.
L. & Co. act as SELLING BROKERS on
Commission only; and, as NON-PRODUCERS,
are in a position to devote their IMPARTIAL
efforts to further the interests of their employers.
Great care is taken that each lot may be well
seen and fairly sampled, thus ensuring the full
attendance and fair competition of all Buyers.
The Wools are received in bulk, and stored in
first-class Stores in Adelaide or Port Adelaide,
as may be most expedient; in all cases are fully

both at Port Adelaide and in Town, and have
every convenience for showing both large and
small lots of Wool to the best advantage.
We act as Selling Brokers only, and do not
purchase on our own account.
Clips comprising over 50 or 60 bales shouldjbe

where the bulk will be Stored and sample bales
selected for exhibition in Town; but lots not

CHARGES.
In order to promote business we have deter
mined to abolish the charge made heretofore for
storage, advertising, Ac., and the following
very moderate scale will now be adopted by ns,

This charge will cover cost of receiving, storage"
fire insurance, sampling, advertising, commis
