General Post-office, Melbourne.
1st July, 1859.
Sir,—With reference to your commumcation of
the 30th ultimo, on the subject of the establish-
ment of additional letter receiving boxes in Gee-
long, at sites indicated in your letter, I have the
honor to inform you, by <iir ,'ctiun of the Post
master-General. that the vote for irra receivers is
exhausted but that the Postmaster, Geelong, has
been instructed to make the best arrangements
possible in order to carry out the wishes of the
Chamber of Commerce at that place.
