Prime mover in the formation
of the Temora District Small
Schools Athletic Association,
11 years ago, and secretary ever
'since, Mr. Jack Fitzgerald - was
farewelled at the conclusion of
this year's carnival at the re- 1
creation . ground recently.
With the closing of the school
at Glynburn. due to the opera
tion of the school bus service, Mr.
Fitzgerald will shortly be trans
ferred to another appointment.
Miss Doris Weckert. of Trung
ley Hall, was admitted to Carl
ton Hospital.
. Mrs. Elllss, of Sydney, Is stay
ing in Temora as the guest of
Mr. and Mrs. Sweeney, of Hos
kins street. Her son, Mr. Kevin
Elliss, weii-^nown Sydney solici
tor, won the Coogee seat in the
by-clection held recently.

tralian Rules' circles and a
valued member of last year's
Rugby League team, Mr. Bruce
Dunn, at present of .Sydney, was
selected to play for NJS.W.

for Wagga en Monday, where he
is the guest of Mrs. Jim Mc
Donald for two weeks, before
going to Albury, where ftt will
reside.

Grafton, arc- receiving con
gratulations on the arrival of a
baby daughter In a city private
hospital. Mrs. Darby was form
erly Miss Margaret Nicholson,
eldest daughter of Mr. -and Mrs.
