CBOSSLEY CAES.
The Crossley exhibit at Stand 179, Pear*
son avenue, displayed a particularly fine
example of British motor construction.
Five Croesley models were shown. An im
posing 1^604i.p. touring car with English*
built de luxe body, exemplifies the trend
of English taste in colouring and upholster*
ing. Striking and unique marking of the
grey leather harmonises well with the
General colour scheme. This powerful and
atnous car, equipped with every modern
improvement, including four-wheel brakes,
&x., comes to Australia with the hall mark
of high appreciation, and includes among
its highly distinguished owners His Majesty
the King, His Royal Highness the Prince
of Wales, and other crowned heads of
Europe.
Four models of the sturdy "top gear"
15-30-h.p. type were also shown. These
models are proving particularly suitable
for Australian conditions. A fine example
of Australian body building was exhibited
iu a saloon with a colour Echeme" in blue
with leather upholstery to match. Every
detail of this car is wonderfully finished.
A 15-30-h.p. tourer, with English-built de
luxe body, was shown with grey colouring
and upholster}*. This car has a remark
able top gear performance, and enjoys an
enviable reputation for reliability and long
life. Another car is an Australian tourer
iu blue. The body is nicely designed, and
has a very pleasing appearance. The re
maining exhibit consisted of a 15-30-h.p.
chassis splendidly prepared so as to clearly
reveal its outstanding sturdiness and the
merits of its constructional details. This
chassis is finished in old gold and burnished
silver.
