ADAMSTOWN
Mrs Freeman, widow of the late Mr
Charles Freeman, died on Monday after
a lengthy illness. Mrs Freeman, who
was 76 years of age, had been a resident
of Adamstown for 37 years. She leaves
a family of four sons and two daughters,
and is also survived by seventeen grand-
children and four great grandchildren. Her
funeral took place yesterday, when the
service was conducted by the Reverend F
Woodger of St Stephen's Church.
A meeting convened for last ovening by
the Mayoress, Mrs Gray, for the purpose
of arranging for Hospital Saturday was
postponed till next Monday night.
Our Budget is so called from the old
French bougette, a bag, which was formerly
used for bringing papers to the
House for inspection.
