Yugoslav Ships
Checked
SYDNEY, Thursday. - Com-
monwealth Investigation officers
believe that an attempt will be-
made to establish a branch of the
Cominform in Sydney. They are
watching incoming Yugoslav ship
ping.
The Cominform was established
in October as a Communist-con
trolled information bureau. Its
headquarters are in Belgrade, Yugo-
slavia, and it functions in nine
European countries.
About 700 migrants of more
than 20 nationalities arrived to
day by the Partizanaka, which is
owned by the Yugoslav Govern
ment. Some of the migrants are
known to support the Yugoslav
Communist leader (Marshal Tito).
On the wharf, when the Parti-
zanka berthed, were several Yugo-
slavs with their baggage, ready to
go on board. They are among
many Yugoslavs who recently an-
nounced their intention of return-
ing to their homeland.
The ship will sail for Central
Europe next week-end.
