A great advance had been made to

Mr. Donar Law's references to Imper

Mr. Lynceh as to whether, In view of the
fact that Australia was not represented
at the Imperial Conference, the Govern

of Australia was almost unanimously
opposed to Imperial federatlon, and 'tha1
any movement or attempt to force the
Dominions to accept federation would be
dangerous.
