Conlon-Binns
The .marriage was celebrated at the
chapel (Goodwood Oriphanage) by Rev.
Monsignor Hourigan. of Phyllis Kathleen,
only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marsden
Binns, of Clarence Park, and Hugh Vin-
cent. second son of Mrs. and the late Ed
ward Coulon, of Adelaide.
The bride. who entered the church with
her father, looked charming in a sleeve
less frock of ivory georgette with tucked
front and spray of orange blossom at
waist. Her veil was arranged cap fashion
with a coronet of orange blossom and she
carried a shower bouquet.
Little Betty Shannon preceded the bride
into the church. She was dressed in pow
der blue georgette trimmed with blue
velvet\ ribbon andt pink rosebuds. and car
ried a basket of blue and pink flowers
with blue ribbon streamers.
T'he bridesmaid. Miss May Moodie, wore
a frock of apricot georgette with silver
trimming and tulle cap edged with silver
leaves, and carried a bouquet of autumn
tints. Mr. Eric Binns (brother of the
bride) was best man.
The altar was beautifully decorated with
gladioli by the Sisters of the orphanage.,
and the little orphans sang sweetly dur
ing the ceremony, accompanied by Miss
Nora Mordaunt at the organ.
Mrs. Binns, mother of the bride, was
smartly frocked in grey crepe de chine
with floral trimmings and black hat.
.After the ceremony relatives and friends
met at the home of the parents of' the
bride, where the wedding breakfast was
held. The bridal couple left later in the
day on their honeymoon.
The travelling dress of the bride was
lighlt brown crepe de chine with finely
pleated front of flesh georgette and hat
to match.
