acres, situated near the highest peak of
Mount Zeehan, and well known a* Bell and
Hall a Sections, No*. 419-87m., 421-87m"
and 422-87«.
The undermentioned Roporta will show to
tho public that the Promoters are now offer-
ing a very valuable property, a well deBnod
lode having boen proved to run through the
seutiobs for 16 cluins, which aro situated on
tho line of lode of the now famous Balstrups,
Manganeso Hill S.M. Co '*. and Queen Ex-
tended P.A Pioperties. The railway from
Strahan to Zeehan, now being constructed
by the Government, will pass within 20
chains of the property now under offer,
thercforo the cost of a tramway to conncot
with same will be voiy light.
The lode out on tho seotions is the one well

Tho present prjpnetor», Mesar*. Bell and
Hall (the original protpeotoi a of the Silver

amount of prospecting on tho lode by trench-

out across the lodo for over 60ft. and a shaft
sunk on it to a depth of 15ft
Samples of ore taken from the shaft and
assayed by the Government Analyst and Mr.
Jenkins, of launceston, have given the fol-

1 REPORTS I
Mr. Moutgomerie, the Government Geo-
logist, reports as Under in his official report
of April 2j, '1890:-This ground ia quite
«ade*eloped, but ha* a very promising look-
ing gossan outcrop Upon 'it, carrying car-
bonate of lead, galena, blonde, caleite, side
ruo,'quart?, and other lode minerals. Em-
bout* oryetals'are said to h'avo been found on
it. Thore ein be no doubt that this is the out-
crop of a lode : it strike« to the'N W., and
following on this line ebout 8 chains, we
come > to another outcrop1 of ' gossan also
carrying carbonate of lead ; the outcrop ap
pears-to be'frotri'12ft. to 30it. wide. The
ground is very flat aud low lying,'IO that
next i to nothing oan be doue on the lode
without sinking. So far a* one oan judge
from a Vtiere Outcrop, this lodo ought to be a
good one. I do not think I have «v.en a
moro premising "suifice show" In the dis-
trict It ought not to lie idle long.
Extraci from report in Mercury of 10th
June (by their special reporter) :-" When
this claim was vitited, the owners weie en-
gaged testing the width of a manganese,
iron, and potaui formation showing! oar
bonaies, und crystals of lead and galena.
LimoBtotic and angelsito are also oooasionally
met with, but in very small particles, still
the indications are good. This formation
Iisb boan pio\ed to a width of 66ft., and a
length of 14 chains. The outorbp is a good
one, perhaps ** good as any on the Seid, and
tho holder« are thinking of floating a com
S any on it. They should have no great
ifhculty in'doing this; the Government
railway passes < a few ohain« from thin pro-
