below par, or after June 30, 1921, by
yearly drawings within fourteen' days

payable, and be redeemed at its face
value, with accrued interest thereon (if
any) added, on December 31 next after

The moneys required for such purchase
or redemption of debentures shall "be
drawn from such ' Cumulative Sinking

The debentures will be secured by" a
specific- charge or mortgage to -tmafpps
fur debenture-holders on the freehold and
leasehold properties of the Company in
the Commonwealth of Australia, other
than three leaseholds relating to clay,
which a p of small valup.andbya float-
ing charge on HIP general undertaking
and assets of the Company, exclusive of
any uncalled or unpaid capital of the
Company.
The debentures will be lo hearer, with
interest coupons attached, and will be
issued in denominations of J 1,000, JI5O0,
and -100, as desired.
Provisional Bearer certificates will be
issued on payment of the amount due
on allotment, and may be exchanged by
Hearer for debentures on payment of final
instalment.
The tich turps will carry interest at
the rate of 6 per ern t. per annum, and
the coupons will be payable half-yearly
on HIP first days of January and July.
The moneys secured will, al the holder's
option, be paid as lo principal at the
offices of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia
in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide,
or London, and as to interest either at
any of such officer, or at the said Bank's
offices in Brisbane, Perth or Hobart.
The whole? of the present issue is
underwritten, and the Iii rectors will only
proceed to allotment upon the whole of
HIP present issue- being subscribed.
