THE Governor-General in Council has approved that autho
rity be granted for the following leases and 'licences:—
For the acquisition, by agreement, of a lease of certain
premises situated in Greville-street, Ballarat, Victoria, occu
pied as a drill hall, for a further period of three (3) years
from the 25th April, 1921, and thereafter from month to
month, at the existing rental of £150 per annum.—V.L.21/182.
Whereas immediate possession of the property known as
the Customs House, at Bundaberg, Queensland, is not re
quired for any public purpose, authority be granted for the
disposal of such property by lease to the Common\yealth
Bank from the date of possession to the 30th. April, 1925, and
thereafter from month to month, at a rental of £8 per week;
and for the acquisition, by agreement, of a lease of the State
Savings Bank premises, situated at Bundaberg, Queensland,
for the purposes of the Department of Trade and Customs,
from the date of' possession to the 30th April, 1925, at a
rental of £97 per annum.—Q.L.21/159.
For the Com naonwealth to acquire, by agreement with the
owner, namely, Hermann Bruckner, of Yatala, Queensland,
farmer, the right a-ftd privilege of entering upon find using,

for the purposes of a Rifle1 Tlaiige, certain land at Alberton,
Queensland,r for a period of five (5) years certain from tlie
23rd February, 1920, and-thereafter until the expiration of
one month's notice, in writing, by either party to the other
of intention to determine the agreement, at a rental of £2
per annum-—4J.L.20/1393.

For "the acquisition, hy agreement, of a lease of premises
situated at Newcastle, New South. Wales, for the purposes of
a Post and Telegraph Office, for a period of five (5) years
from the date of possession, and thereafter subject to deter
mination "by twenty-eight (28) days' notice, at a rental of
£104 per annum.—N.L.20/3392.

For the acquisition, by agreement, of a _ lease of premises,
situated at Lake , Cargelligo,1 New South Wales, for Postal
purposes, for a period of three (3) years from the 22nd
June, 1920, and thereafter on a three-monthly tenancy, at a
rental of £1 7s. 6d. per week.—N.L.21/228.

For the acquisition, by agreement, of a lease of premises,
situated at Nos. 38-40 Brunswick-street, Fitzroy, Victoria, for
■the purposes of a Commonwealth Motor Garage, for a -further
period of one (1) year from the 1st February, 1921, and there
after from month to month, at an increased rental of from
£175 per annum to £225 per annum.—V.L.21/26.

For the acquisition, by agreement, of a lease of a room on
the 7th Floor of the National- Mutual Buildings, Collins-street,
Melbourne, for the purposes of the Navigation and Light
house Branch, for tffe period from the 3rd February, 1921, to
the 31st July, 1923, at a rental of £91 per annum.—

For the acquisition, by agreement", of a lease of certain
accommodation in the St. Kilda Railway Station Buildings,
Victoria, occupied as a Post and Telegraph Office, for a
further period of one (1) year from the 1st January, 1921, at
an increased rental of from £65 per annum to £100 per
annum.—V.L.21/70.

For the acquisition, by agreement, of a lease of premises,
situated in Main-street, Trafalgar, Victoria, - occupied as a
Post and Telegraph Office, for a further period of two (2)
years from the 8th February, 1921, and thereafter subject to
determination by twenty-eight (28) days' notice, at the exist
ing rental of £62 per annum.—V.L.21/214.

For the acquisition, by agreement, of a lease 'of a room on
the Ground Floor of the A.U.S.N. Company's Building, Port
Adelaide, South Australia, for the purposes of the Naviga
tion Department, on a monthly tenancy as from the date of
possession, at a rental of £.52 per annum.—S.L.20/486.

For the acquisition by agreement of a lease of premises
situated in Mary-street, Brisbane, Queensland, occupied as
Postal" Bulk Stores, for a further period * of three (3) years
frorr\ the 9th December, 1920, and ""thereafter from month to
month, at an increased rental of from £1,652 per annum to

For the Commonwealth to acquire by agreement with. the',
owner, namely, James Barbour, grazier, of Biarra, vi& Esk,
Queensland,' the right, and privilege of entering upon and
using for the purposes of a Rifle Range, certain land at Biarra,

Queensland, for a period of three (3) years certain from, the,
1st July, 1920, and thereafter until the expiration of one
month's notice, in writing, by either party to the other of
intention to determine the agreement, at a rental of £4 per

For the acquisition by agreement of a lease of the 4th Floor
of the City Mart Buildings, situated at No. 5 Hamilton-street,
Sydney, New South Wales, for the purposes of the War Ser
vice Homes Commission, for the period from the 8th-Decem
ber, 1920, to the 31st July, 1924, at a rental of £353 per

For the acquisition by agreement of a lease of premises
situated in George-street West, Sydney, New South Wales,
occupied as a Post and Telegraph Office, Jfor a further period
of three (3) years from the 1st April, 1921, and thereafter
on a quarterly tenancy, at an_ increased rental of from £260
per annum to £360 per annum. (N.L. 21/84.)

For the acquisition by agreement of a lease of premises at
Rowena, New South Wales, occupied as a Post and Telegraph
Office, as from 15th December, 1920, when a permanent officer
was placed in charge, until the date on which the new Allow
ance Postmaster takes up duty, at a rental of £1 per week.

For the acquisition by agreement of a lease, for the purposes
of the Commonwealth Film Censorship Board, of five rooms
in the basement of Royal Chambers, situated at the corner of
Spring and Pitt streets, Sydney, for a further period of five
(5) years from the 1st June, 1921, and thereafter from month
to month, at the increased rental of from £250 per annum to ,
£300 per annum. (In lieu of Executive Council Minute'No.

For the lease to the Council of the shire of < Gunning of*
portion of the Post Office site, being an area 12 feet square at
the corner of Yass and Waratah streets, Gunning, New South
Wales, for a period of ninety-nine years from the 8th Novem
ber, 1920, at a peppercorn rental, for the purposes of erecting
