Much interest was evinced in the
match, on Saturday afternoon, on the
Kooweerup ground, between Dalmore
and Granbourne, in the Beaconsfield
District Junior Football Association.
There was a record attendance,, and
the gate takings constituted a record.
Dalmore had an excellent combination
on the field. Granbourne howeverT
were without somjj) of their best m&p.
A strong -wind blowing acr.oss . the.
ground interfered ; with the play, the
day being •otherwise fine, and, sunny,. {
'Granbourne were outc’asseißjiy; their!
opponents, and Dalmore 1 some
good concerted action. 1 Individually
Cranbourne players did well but were
lamentably weak in combination play.
During the final quarter Cranbourne
rallied, arid had the best of the game,
but it was too late to make up for lost
opportunities. Dalmore was captained
by O’Rourke, and Donnelly acted in a
similar capacity for Granbourne. yhe
final result was: Dalmore, /t. 9 (51
