  3. Norwood Win 1929 Football Premiership

    Beating Port Adelaide at almost every point on the ground, Norwood, on Saturday, won the 1929 football premiership from Port Adelaide by 16.14 to 10.9. A strong wind blew from the north during the greater part of the game, and Norwood, scoring easily against it in the first quarter, gained a lead which they increased as the match wore on.
