The "reaping" of the wheat plots as the Snowtown School has been completed by the scholars, under direction of the head teacher (Mr. H. Friedricks). The work is carried out to the smallest detail, and is a wonderful practical education for the children of this pieturesque and progressive district. Complete records have been kept since the experiments were begum in 1918. Each plot is 66 ft long by 4 ft. wide, and the heads are hand-picked.
