    On Sunday afternoon, December 11, at the West Terrace Cemetery, in the presence of a large gathering, the Bishop of Ad elable (Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas) unvelled and dedicated a memorial, erected by members of Independent Order of Oddfellows, Mancherster Umty to the late Bro. Rev. C harles Beaumont Howard, who was the first Colonial Chaplain of South Australia. The Bishop said it was an inspiration which had prompted them to restore the headstone to the first colonial chaplain, Photos.   3. BEATEN ON THE POST.

    The South Australian Cricket team, published above, had 423 runs to make in the second innings in the Sheffeld Shield match against New South Wales, and they went within an ace of doing it.
