The Queensland quota of the Australian Expeditionary Force, numbering 2380 troops of all arms, marching through Queen-street, Brisbane. The infantry in the picture comprise the Ninth Bat[?]hon of the Third Brigade. The march was witnessed by thousands of people. The men carried themselves splendidly, and cheer upon cheer rent the air as the troops went by with a look of determination on their bronzed and manly faces. The Lieutenant-Governor, Sir Arthur Morgan, and many notable citizens occupied a position in front of the Town Hall. Queen-street was decorated with flags and many farewell messages to the soldiers in the shape of streamers, etc. Well-known men, as they passed down the avenue of citizens, were enthusiastically cheered, and the mounted men made ...
