The unanimous decision of the executives of the National Council of Wool-selling Brokers and the Australian Wool-growers' Council to suspend all auction sales of wool in Australia until July was justified. Whether business will be resumed in July will depend entirely upon circumstances, and if found necessary the carry-over wools will be held still longer. Whatever moderate orders were on hand were easily met by the decision to permit private sale transactions of passed-in wool for a fortnight, but after this period a complete rest is to be given to the trade. ...
