  5. VISITING BOWLERS PLAY VICTORIANS ON SUBURBAN GREENS.

    A three days’ series of matches between bowlers representing' New South Wales and Victoria was played on the greens at Elsternwick, Carlton and Tosrak respectively. This concluding match on Thursday at the latter ground drew a large and interested gathering of spectators, although Victoria had won both tfae previous; frames. The green was in perfect condition, the play of a high order, and the scores were pretty even throughout, but Victoria again drew ahead and won by 101 to 90. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
