Aborigine in Court
UNLAWFULLY DRANK LIQUOR
SUPPLIER CONVICTED
Before Messrs. W. : B. Richardson
and W. R. Johnston, J's.P.. in the
Pert L'ncoln Magistrates' Court,
Frank- Francis (40), an Australian
aborigine, was^, charged with having
been found unlawiulljr drinking '
liquor, £ontrary to the provisions of
the Licensing .Act. 1917-28. Plains
guilty, he was fined £2, with ...&l.t
costs, or, in default, ordered imprisrn- j

. Robert Johnson, charged the same
day with haVng supplied the liquor
to Francis, euterea a plea of not
guilty. He was ordered to pay a fine

fault, undergo imprisonment for one
