FLYING MAY
START
ATBALLINA
BALLINA, Sunday.—En
deavours will be made to
commence flying training
at Ballina.
This was stated last night
by the Ballina Aero Club
president. Mr. Don Hopper,
who said the senior instruc
tor of Casino Aero Club, Mr.
Roger Howley, the Mayor of
Ballina, Aid. J. S. Easter, and
Mr. S. G. Roberts, had in
spected the airfield during
the weekend.
Mr. Hopper said a working
bee would be held next week
end to get the field in order.
He added that Ballina would
be served by Newcastle Aero
Club, which has aircraft and
instructors stationed at Cas
ino.

terested in learning to fly, or
able to assist next weekend,
